Train or bus
Our museum is within walking distance from the train and bus station in Falun (about 1 km).
If you arrive by train or bus at the Travel Center, you can either walk through the town or follow the stream Faluån. If you choose to walk through the town, follow the signs to the center, then take Holmgatan to Stora Torget, where you turn left onto Falugatan, cross the Falu Bridge, and you will find the museum on the right side. If you prefer to follow the river, walk along the path next to Korsnäsvägen, cross Gruvgatan, and follow Östra Hamngatan to Falugatan, then turn over the Falu Bridge, and the museum is on your right. There are signposted walking paths to the museum from the center.
By Car
From E16, follow the signs towards the center, inner ring road. There are signs to Dalarna Museum from the road Gruvgatan. There is parking at Hälsingetorget (fee), opposite the museum entrance.
